B1 comparison goes beyond bigger / the biggest.

• much / far / a lot + comparative: much bigger, far more interesting
• a bit / slightly + comparative: a bit cheaper
• the more ..., the more ...: The more you practise, the better you get.
• more and more: It's getting more and more expensive.
• as ... as / not so ... as: not so easy as it looks
• twice as ... as: twice as fast as

With nouns: more people than, fewer cars (countable), less traffic (uncountable). Informal less cars exists; standard English prefers fewer cars.
