Pronouns (personal, demonstrative, possessive)

Pronouns replace nouns so you do not repeat the same word.

Personal pronouns

Subject: I, you, he, she, it, we, they.

• I am Anna.
• She is a doctor.
• They live in Kraków.

Object: me, you, him, her, it, us, them.

• Call me.
• I know him.
• Help us, please.

Possessives

Determiners (before a noun): my, your, his, her, its, our, their — This is my bag.

Pronouns (alone): mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs — This bag is mine. (not its in this pattern).

Demonstratives
